Angelina Jolie Honored at the 17th Sarajevo Film Festival
Being honored with a special tribute, Angelina Jolie was joined by Brad Pitt at the closing ceremony of the 17th Sarajevo Film Festival on Saturday (July 30). Held at the national theatre in downtown Sarajevo, the couple worked the red carpet before Miss Jolie was presented with the Honorary Heart of Sarajevo award. Overwhelmed by the reception from the gathered crowd, the "Wanted" actress reportedly fought back tears upon getting a seemingly non-stop ovation after being introduced by actress Zana Marjanovic. During her speech, Jolie graciously said, ?I?m so happy to be in this remarkable city in this beautiful country and I?ve spent the last year lucky enough to experience not just the warmth and the hospitality of the local people but also your extraordinary talent." Continuing on about her experience shooting her directorial debut "In the Land of Blood and Honey" in Bosnia, Angelina stated, "In my career, I have never worked with such disciplined and talented artists as I was able to this last year."

Made available by Yahoo! Movies, this official sneak peek into The Avengers gives us, although only for a split second, a clearer look at the updated outfits and costumes of Thor, Captain America and Hawkeye among others. All main casts are set to reprise their roles from their other Marvel films.
They include, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Samuel L. Jackson" and Jeremy Renner. Meanwhile, Mark Ruffalo has been cast to play the new Hulk alter-ego, Bruce Banner with director Joss Whedon leading the Avengers project.

Two more sent home on 'So you Think You Can Dance'
The episode opens with a hot Bollywood routine to "Kata Kata" from Raavan by choreographer Nakul Dev Mahajan. It’s colorful, energetic and fast. What an exciting routine!
Am I the only one who missed the explanation of why Carmen Electra was not on panel despite judging the night before? Kristen Chenoweth sat on the panel both nights when she guest judged a couple episodes ago. (And I can’t believe Carmen Electra had any better to do.) So what happened?
Anywho, a plug for that lame looking National Dance Day is next.
Now, back to the bottom three couples.
Ashley and Chris are the first in the bottom three. Nigel says they didn't quite get the style. "It wasn't good enough," Nigel adds.
Jordan and Tadd are the next couple in the bottom three. Guest judge Travis Wall gives the decision a thumbs down sign. Mary says she is really shocked. She adds that the routine wasn't the pairs strongest of the season.
Ryan and Ricky are the final couple in the bottom three. Travis says he's confused, shocked. "I think America got it wrong," he says.
I am totally shocked that Ryan and Ricky are in the bottom three instead of Sasha and Alexander because the judges tried their best to convince the public to put the pair in the bottom. Remember how little “swag” the judges said the pair had?

Rihanna Totes Naval Weapon in 'Battleship' Trailer -- Watch

Donning Navy gear and positioned inside a speed boat, the Bajan songstress puts on her acting hat in the clip, a preview into the $200 million movie based on Hasbro's naval combat board game. Though she's shown quite quickly -- check the 1:07 mark -- the 23-year-old 'Loud' creator gets her fair share of time during the film.
The red-haired entertainer toned down her look for the role, playing Navy weapons officer Raikes. Rihanna stars alongside Liam Neeson, Alexander Skarsgard and Taylor Kitsch in the film, which was shot in Baton Rouge and Hawaii locales.

Cat Deeley Launches Marks And Spencer UNICEF Campaign
UNICEF UK Ambassador Cat Deeley is calling on Marks & Spencer customers to support UNICEF by not taking hangers home when they buy clothes.
The TV presenter is supporting the new partnership, launched on 21 July, which will see M&S donate 50p for every �1 saved from hanger recycling to UNICEF.
The partnership aims to raise at least �1.9 million over three years to fund essentials like clean water, education and health care for children in two locations in the Mymensingh and Dhaka regions of Bangladesh.

“There are countries where children live in fear and without access to things like running water, education or healthcare,” said Deeley. “We need to help these children. By joining with UNICEF, M&S customers will be able to make a real difference to children’s lives ? just by recycling hangers.”
?
Marc Bolland, Chief Executive of Marks & Spencer said: “Just one box of hangers can provide a child with clean water for a fortnight. We believe our UNICEF partnership can make a big difference to families and communities in Bangladesh.”
The M&S and UNICEF partnership launched in M&S stores on 21 July.

Yesterday we celebrated my sister-in-law husband's birthday and went to this burger place, known for their ginormous burgers. They come topped with everything, you can even get it with an egg on top. It was yet another hot day in Miami, so I made sure to dress very lightweight to beat the heat. I wore this striped skirt that I scored on sale at Banana Republic along with a white tee from J.Crew. This weekend, my husband and I also took a trip back to a plant nursery. We had bought a mango tree a couple of weeks back, but it died. This time we came back home with 3 mango trees and a passion fruit tree.

Marko and All-Star Chelsea Hightower are first with a Jason Gilkison samba to “Cinema Italiano” (The Ron Fair Remix) by Kate Hudson. Neil says the performance is amazing and dirty. He says Marko is unbelievable. He says he is the guy to beat. Mary says Marko is the "real deal." She says she won't be surprised if he's in the finale. Nigel says he's tremendous.
Sasha dances to “Syrup & Honey” by Duffy. She has a lot of power and energy.
Jordan is paired with All-Star Brandon Bryant for a contemporary routine choreographed by Desmond Richardson and Dwight Rhoden. They dance to "Who You Are" by Jessie J. Jordan does fantastic. She keeps up with Brandon on this super difficult routine. Mary says Jordan is fantastic and fierce. Nigel says Jordan doesn't have many weaknesses. He says his eyes keep returning to Jordan. He then tells the voters to wake up and not put her in the bottom. Neil says she's beautiful and that she should be very pleased.
Jess dances a solo to "Come By Me" by Harry Connick Jr. It's playful and fun.
Tad was joined by All-Star Comfort for a Chuck Maldonado hip hop routine. They dance to "Look At Me" by Chris Brown. I can barely catch my breath. It's a very difficult routine. Nigel says the routine was very fast. He says he outdanced Comfort. Neil says Tad is super likeable. Mary says he is special. "You hit this right out of the ball park," she screamed.
Melanie dances her solo to “You’re The One That I Want” by Angus and Julia Stone. She's her typical fantastic self.
Mitchel teamed up with All Star Melody Lacayanga for a Tyce Diorio Broadway routine to "Take Off With Us" from All That Jazz. Neil says he doesn't get an airplane theme from the routine. "That was not my favorite," Neil says. Mary says it was over done. Nigel says he "over egged the pudding." (Mitchell is in trouble.)
Ricky is next will a solo to "Daybreak Lights” by Cassidy Haley. He's unworldly good.
Clarice is next with a spicy solo to “Royal T” by Crookers featuring Roisin Murphy. She’s having a fantastic night as well.
Caitlynn and All Star Pasha Kovalev are next with a Miriam Larici and Leonardo Barrionuevo choreographed Argentine Tango routine to “Malajunta” by Orquestra Color Tango. Mary gives it a standing ovation. She says she took her dancing to another level. Nigel says she kept the intensity. Neil says it felt like great theater.
Mitchell is next with his solo. He dances to “This Time” by John Legend.
Sasha dances with All-Star Stephen “Twitch” Boss to "Misty Blue" by Dorothy Moore. The Christopher Scott choreographed hip hop routine is my favorite of the night. I love how the routine uses contemporary dancing with such a old-time feeling song. Nigel is basically speechless. He compares this routine to Twitch’s routine with Alex last season. (That’s a huge compliment. He says that this is the first time he's seen her have chemistry. Neil says it's the best routine of the night. Mary says the number is "sexy." She says the routine has it all. Mary says that Sasha is an "All-Star."
Jordan's solo is next. She dances to “Tonight” by Lyjje Li. Jordan really appears to have stepped up her game. She has definitely limited the stripper dancing.
Jess and Kathryn are next with a Stacey Tookey contemporary routine. They dance to "The Lonley" by Christina Perri. The judges gush over Jess. Nigel says the routine has more lifts than Joan Rivers' face. Ouch!
Melanie and Pasha are next with a Viennese waltz. They dance a Jason Gilkison routine to “Everybody Hurts” by Tina Arena. It is magical. Mary says it looks like Melanie floated across the stage. She says she's at the top of the leader board. Neil says that Melanie is a super hero. "You're easily my favorite dancer on the show," he says.
Caitlynn is next with a solo. She dances to "Cosmic Love" by Florence and the Machine.

Amy Winehouse?s Family: "Bereft By the Loss"
Making their first comments since the tragic revelation of their daughter's passing, the family of Amy Winehouse released a statement on Sunday (July 24) addressing their loss. The Winehouse's, which include Amy's mother Janis, her father Mitch and her brother Alex, said in their press release, "Our family has been left bereft by the loss of Amy, a wonderful daughter, sister, niece. She leaves a gaping hole in our lives." The Winehouse family statement continued, "We are coming together to remember her and we would appreciate some privacy and space at this terrible time." As previously reported by GossipCenter, the "Rehab" singer was found at her London home on Saturday (July 23) - with reports telling that she had "signs of life" at the time but passed away before medical personnel were able to transport her to the hospital. While early speculation points to the unfortunate case of an overdose, the cause of death is still pending an autopsy scheduled to take place tomorrow, July 25th

REVIEWS (tea children's clothing and the museum)
I felt pretty lucky that triplets got in free to the Children's Museum of Phoenix on Tuesday (the museum was celebrating their 3rd birthday..hence the number three). I had never been before and was really impressed. We could have easily stayed for 5 hours.... which I think is good information to know as kids get cooped up come summertime around this joint. It is getting pretty toasty outside so any large air-conditioned space works out just fine.
While we are on the reviewing subject, the very kind folks over at Tea let me pick out a few items to try out on my kids. I had never heard of Tea before and was really excited to see that that they offered some really cute children's clothing pieces at reasonable prices. I chose to go with a few pieces from their girl's collection found here. In fact, the above rose colored cotton dress is such a perfect play dress and is currently on sale for $24.50 and would easily translate into a fall or winter piece when paired with leggings.
