Method Man Aims for Classic With New Album, 'Crystal Meth'

Method Man has high hopes for his upcoming solo album 'Crystal Meth.' The Wu-Tang Clan member is currently prepping the release of his fifth studio LP, originally intended to hit stores in 2009, but pushed back to this year. The delays may frustrate fans, but Johnny Blaze explained that he's taking his time so he can earn his first classic.

"It is what it is; it's just what it sound like," he told 'The Come Up Show.' "In my opinion, I feel like I fell short a few times with albums, and I want my own personal classic meaning no arguments, no holds barred. Meth killed it. That's it. That's all it is.'

And while listeners may be used to the New York rapper touting his love for marijuana, don't expect him to be dropping green-friendly rhymes on 'Crystal Meth.'
