Jackie Chan was in Qingdao, China, on August 8 to hand out books at the start of the Send A Book For A Better Tomorrow 2011 Campaign.
As part of his role as Goodwill Ambassador for the China Foundation for the Alleviation of Poverty, the action star handed out children’s books as well as books on art and literature which were donated by publishers, such as the Qingdao Publishing Group.
The campaign will deliver 500,000 books this year – with a total of 3 million books being handed out over the next 3 years.
