Francesco Vezzoli’s exhibit Sacrilegio opens tomorrow at the Gagosian Gallery in New York.� The artist reinterpreted 15th and 16th Century Madonna-and-Child paintings by Giovanni Bellini, but instead of Madonna he painted models like Claudia Schiffer, Linda Evangelista, Stephanie Seymour and Kim Alexis, above.
