In honor of this weekend's release of the oft-delayed The Adjustment Bureau, starring Matt Damon and Emily Blunt, I thought I'd take the time to highlight the essential films of Mr. Damon. He's had quite the successful career in Hollywood. He started as a highly employable young actor, but only really became a household name until he wrote himself a starring role in Good Will Hunting. Damon is excellent at balancing studio projects with independent films, dramas with comedies, and leading parts with supporting roles. He's one of the most talented actors working today, and as he just proved with True Grit - he's consistently surprising and just a joy to watch on screen. Though I love him in Dogma, The Departed, and the Ocean's movies, none of those made the cut. Here's what did:
